Romanian Community Summit 2026 - ticket terms

These terms cover tickets for the Romanian Community Summit, Chicago, September 18-20, 2026, sold on rosummit.org by Romanian United Foundation (RUF), 5408 N Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60625. RUF's privacy policy (https://www.romanianunitedfund.org/privacy_policy) and terms of use (https://www.romanianunitedfund.org/terms_of_use) apply to everything not covered here.

What you are buying. Each ticket admits one named person to the events listed on it. Your name and the QR code in your confirmation email are your ticket. Bring the QR code on your phone or printed.

Prices. Prices are in US dollars and are the ones shown at the moment you pay. Early Bird prices end September 9, 2026 at midnight Chicago time. RUF covers the card processing fee; you can choose to add it.

Refunds. Full refund on request until Friday, September 11, 2026. After that, tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person by emailing summit@ruf.global with the new attendee's name. If RUF cancels the event, every ticket is refunded in full.

Your details. We ask for each attendee's name, email and phone so we can send the ticket, check you in, and reach you about the event. Payment is handled by Stripe; RUF never sees your card number. Email is sent through Resend. The app runs on Lovable Cloud. Venues receive the names of attendees for the events they host, nothing else. We keep attendee details for 12 months after the Summit, then remove them; payment records stay as long as the law requires. To see, correct or delete your details, write to summit@ruf.global.

Photos and video. The Summit is photographed and filmed. By attending you agree that RUF may use images from the event on its website, social media and materials. Tell us at the registration desk if you would rather not appear, and we will do our best.

Your name in public. We only list your name in the program or on the supporter wall if you ticked that box at checkout.

Email. You will get emails about your ticket and the event. You will only hear from RUF about anything else if you left “Keep me posted” ticked.

Changes. RUF may change the program, speakers or venue. Major changes are announced by email to ticket holders.
